X-rays: Fast and minimal exposure is the key to the new digital x-ray. Exposure to x-ray is 80 percent less than the normal exposure that is used in a regular dental x-rays. The ability to use the computer enhanced imaging of the digital picture allows for more optimum diagnostic care. Many patients find the sensors more comfortable than conventional film and much faster with immediate x-ray image shown on computer screen. |

Intra-Oral Camera: Using a close-up picture to evaluate a tooth or soft tissue lesion helps with finding a quicker and better solution to the problem. The intra-oral camera is an easy procedure and allows the patient to see what the doctor sees. It can be used to see changes from one visit to another.

Implants: Many missing teeth can be replaced without the need of preparing good adjacent teeth and placing a fixed bridge. Sometimes it is not possible to place a fixed bridge for replacement, if it is the last tooth in the arch, but a single tooth implant would work very well. |
